Because weddings are planned so far in advance, there’s so many unknowns you simply have no way of predicting in advance! For this intimate fall wedding at Whitney Mountain Lodge, what had been a mild, warm October became a blustery, cold weekend! After 25 years we know to always COME PREPARED and the wind couldn’t stop us from making this sweet day perfect for the lovely couple.

Since we'd worked with the couple to understand what was important to them, we were able to make changes to the décor that accommodated the weather AND our what our clients wanted. In fact, the groom recently wrote and said, "The flowers we received from you were absolutely gorgeous and my wife was absolutely over the moon about them."

The bride chose a palette of soft peaches, dusty pinks, burgundys with pops of bright green. We created a semi-organic bouquet using roses, ranunculus, dahlias, and scabiosa for a truly modern take on the traditional pink wedding flowers. For the ceremony, we draped our wooden arbor in a custom macramé curtain that assistant designer Kaity hand-crafted! (It’s amazing and available for rent anytime!) We decorated the tables with loose foliage and blooms to cap off the effortless relaxed feel. It was absolutely lovely, captured by Bryan Striegler! Take a look at the amazing images below.
