For Megan’s bouquet, we used an array of delicate flowers to create a lush, semi-organic bouquet. Blue delphinium, White O’Hara Garden Roses, Peach Fuzz spray roses, and green lisianthus were artfully arranged to complement her fit and flare gown.

This year, the Pantone Color of the Year—Peach Fuzz—has been center stage for weddings! It brings a softness and romance to any wedding palette and harmonizes beautifully with rich blues and elegant cream accents. A trend I’ve seen more lately is brides embracing color! Now, don’t get us wrong, we love a traditional all white wedding, but there’s something so cheerful and happy about colorful flowers. For her summer wedding at Sassafras Springs Winery and Vineyard, Jessica came to me looking for a whimsical mix of delicate blooms in light, pastel tones. It felt garden party meets wedding and I was excited to bring the Rose of Sharon flare to it.

Red is arguably the 2nd most classic wedding color, with white (of course) taking the top spot. In the over 25 years I’ve been designing, I’ve loved seeing how red has evolved as a palette. For Max and Audrey’s, Fall nuptials at Sassafras Springs Winery, we created a gorgeous, modern take on red with shades of burgundy, purple, and pink. You might be thinking—those colors aren’t red? Well, technically they’re not, but they’re all in the (red) family!

In 2019, Pantone’s color of the year was Living Coral—a “vibrant, yet mellow” shade that brings warmth and joy wherever it goes. I’ve always loved a coral palette for a wedding and I’m so glad the color has been trending recently.
