Deep Sunset Wedding at The Ravington
Photos by: Haven Lohse Photography
More and more I’ve been getting requests for a color palette I call sunset. Now sunsets can vary a lot; from oranges and purples to blushes and marigolds, so this palette is perfect for the couple who wants multi-color, but with a focus. For Jordan and Ron’s wedding at The Ravington, we created a deep sunset featuring the dusk-like colors of orange, peach, and magenta.
For Jordan’s bouquet we used orange Free Spirit Garden Roses, orange ranunculus, peach spray roses, purple scabiosa, and red kangaroo paw. Ron’s coordinating bout featured 2 spray rose buds, 1 in deep red and 1 in peach. The bouquet and bout popped next to her lace dress and his blue suit! For their maid of honor and best man, a bouquet and bout each to match the bride and groom.
For the ceremony, we created 2 low urn arrangements with draping foliage to frame the altar and 2 low floor arrangements to flank the aisle. For the reception, we mixed & matched bud vases filled with mixed coordinating flowers. Trailing seasonal foliage accented the vases for that finishing touch.
This gorgeous day was planned and coordinated by Shaleen Eggebraaten at JLK Events. Enjoy the sweet photos by Haven Lohse Photography and a few of our shop photos below!
