Lush White Elopement at St. Catherine's at Bell Gable
Photos by: Emma Farr
We always feel so flattered when a bride comes to us with inspiration from our own past work! Loren did just that when she reached out to ask us to design the flowers for her elopement. She loved photos of round, lush semi-organic white and blush bouquets. It’s a classic design that never goes out of style so our job is making it feel personal, and unique for each specific wedding.
For Loren and Jon’s nuptials at St. Catherine’s at Bell Gable, we started with the bouquet. Designed with just a hint of naturally cascading foliage, white and blush roses, barely blush carnations, white stock, white ranunculus; accented by dollar eucalyptus, Gunni eucalyptus and Italian ruscus. It was the perfect complement to her dramatic, off the shoulder gown with a long train. For Jon’s Boutonniere, we grouped together the sweetest little spray rose, ranunculus, and wax flower buds. It popped next to his crisp, black suit.
To top off the day, we designed a cake topper filled with fluffy white carnations and scabiosa. The newlyweds shared cake and a toast to mark the moment and then rode off into the sunset in St. Catherine’s vintage car.
Emma Farr captured this day perfectly. Take a look at the inspirational images Loren shared and then Emma’s beautiful images from the day of below!
