Whimsical Jewel Tone Wedding at Cooper Chapel
Photos by: Manuel Trinidad Photography and Rose of Sharon
One of my favorite color palettes to work with is something I call multicolor. Now that does not mean rainbow (unless you want it to,) instead it means a variety of colors usually in a similar color tone family. For her summer wedding, Sally came to me looking for a whimsical mix of seasonal blooms in deep, rich jewel tones. I loved her vision and was excited to bring the ROS flare to it.
For Sally’s bouquet we used orange Free Spirit Garden Roses, peach ranunculus, mauve lisianthus, wine dahlias, and royal blue delphinium. To add that wildflower whimsy she was after, we added limonium, seeded eucalyptus, and agonis. The bridal party’s bouts and corsages were each unique, multicolored mini masterpieces. They were a perfect match for the ceremony at Cooper Chapel.
For the reception at The Jackson House, we designed several cocktail table arrangements and classic centerpieces. They featured the same cheerful mix of flowers, but had a few surprise fruit accents! This tied into the gorgeous 3-tier fruit and flower accented cake by Shelby Lynn’s beautifully. There’s nothing like bright, happy flowers for an extremely happy day!
