Influencers Who Brunch: Styled Shoot

Photographer: Sydney Rasch

What Is A Styled Shoot?

“A styled shoot is simply a collaborative effort of multiple creatives who put their talents and resources together to create a stunning visual concept to be photographed.”* I often get inquiries from photographers, event coordinators, or event venues asking for a florist to collaborate on styled (photo)shoots.

Sometimes there is a vision for these shoots and other times I have total creative liberty to design whatever I want. I enjoy these shoots because they are opportunities to flex my creative muscles as a florist, try new design styles or techniques, and work with other wedding vendors in the community.

This Styled Shoot

For this shoot, I had the pleasure of partnering with Meredith of Meredith Corning PR and Serge and Mary of Vibrant Occasions Catering! Vibrant Occasions has recently debuted a new mobile kitchen that can be hired for any event! Now you might be thinking, what’s a mobile kitchen? It’s a full kitchen on wheels that enables their team to bring their gourmet catering to any location! It goes beyond the idea of the food truck because, although it could be used as such, it’s primary goal is to bring a full kitchen to any venue that doesn’t have one! Combine this with their world class service and you have a luxury, mobile catering experience.

To build awareness for the mobile kitchen, Serge and Mary partnered with Meredith to create Influencers Who Brunch! We invited 4 amazing local bloggers to an gorgeous AirBNB where they sampled Vibrant Occasions amazing food + drink services and I designed the flowers!

What Did I Use?

and filled it with dainty bud vases. Each small vase was a mini masterpiece, filled with gorgeous early Spring blooms like white anemones, peach ranunculus, and coral spray roses. 2 bright pink Cyclamen flanked the central piece in their own slate boxes.

To accent the bar, we designed a floral bottle wrap! Light purple astrantia, eggplant scabiosa, and yellow mimosa were artfully arranged to gracefully wrap around the bartender’s vodka. It was SO COOL! One of my favorite decorative accents I’ve ever created.

My favorite accents by far though were the accessories! I designed 4 floral accessories, 1 for each Influencer. Here’s the details:

  1. A bright fuchsia statement necklace that featured protea petals and scabiosa.

  2. A wide floral cuff designed with peach spray roses and white Sweet William.

  3. A coral daisy statement necklace.

  4. A modern corsage featuring a mini arrangement of peach ranunculus and yellow mimosa

And, surprise! I was there too! I designed myself a floral label piece that complemented my suit. All in all, an amazing afternoon with a lovely team. Check out the lovely photos by Sydney Rasch below, Meredith’s blog here and show our whole team some love!
