A gorgeous lake backdrop, a beautiful sunny day, and mild temperatures; a recipe for a perfect wedding day for Janet and Connor! Janet came to me with one color in mind: PURPLE! Turns out purple is my favorite color and her wedding colors happened to be the hues I use in my logo/branding. I’ve always had a passion for purple, but it has truly taken off this year. I said back in October 2020 that 2021 would be the year of lavender weddings. So far, my prediction was absolutely correct.

For Janet’s bouquet we designed a dazzling tribute to all things purple. We used lavender Tiera and Amnesia roses (the MOST popular right now,) deep plum scabiosa, light fuschia astrantia, and indigo limonium to bring her lovely lavender dreams to life. A sweet haircomb with cream spray roses and plum scabiosa rounded out Janet’s personal flowers. The bridesmaids all donned coordinating flower crowns and mini, slighter brighter versions of Janet’s bouquet.

Whitney Mountain Lodge, overlooking Beaver lake, served as the setting for this amazing day. We designed a beautiful arbor piece featuring roses, carnations, chrysanthemums, and tons of foliage to complement the natural backdrop.

For the reception, sprigs of lavender adorned each table. And gorgeous purple wreaths accented the space. Julianne at Most Joyful Day did an amazing job! It was truly a lovely lavender day! Check out the amazing photos captured by Kaity of Photo Love and see for yourself!
