Lovely Lemon + Blush Wedding at White River Landing

Sometimes brides come to me and I can so clearly see their vision in my head as soon as we start chatting. Juliet was one of those brides! She showed me pictures of her mother’s bridal bouquet, the family heirloom dress that both her grandma and her mother wore that she would wear for her ceremony, and loads of lemon centerpieces. I loved every bit of it and was so excited to design for her.
For her bouquet, we used blush roses, cream butterfly ranunculus, bright white gardenias, and pale yellow lisianthus to create the soft, romantic feel she was looking for. For the groom’s boutonniere, a sweet pink rose was the star and looked great next to his classic black bow-tie. The maid’s bouquets mirrored Juliet’s and the groomsmen’s bout’s mirrored Mathias’ for a classic look.
For the ceremony, we designed two pieces to frame the altar, filled with peach and blush roses, cream delphinium, and a slew of foliage. The pew flowers were petite and sweet featuring roses, carnations, and light pink ribbon.
For the reception, we covered the stunning entrance of White River Landing with a foliage archway made of cherry laurel branches. As for the centerpieces, we designed low, organic arrangements filled with trailing foliage, roses, and stock for an ultra-sweet look. Bowls of lemons and little bud vases of ranunculus filled the tablescape; a stunning mix of colored glass and tall candles completed the look. When the candles were lit, it was true romantic magic!
Planned by Buzz Events, this lovely couple said their vows accompanied by our cheerful and sweet floral designs. White River Landing served as the perfect backdrop and Derek Couts captured the day wonderfully. Enjoy the snaps below!
