Dramatic Burgundy Wedding at Pratt Place Inn

There’s nothing quite like designing a dramatic, burgundy based wedding. Tons of flowers are available in shades of wine; from zinfandel to rosé, they create a rainbow of pinks, purples, and reds that dazzle the eye. Plus, they evoke a romantic and personal mood. What more could you want for your wedding?
This bride chose the wine palette for her fall wedding at the lovely Pratt Place Inn. I created an opulent organic style bouquet using red garden roses, plum scabiosa, and wine calla lillies. The cascading foliage—ruscus, agonis, and eucalyptus—are what sent the bouquet over the fabulous edge! The maids’ bouquets featured antique hydrangeas and deep purple dahlias for a sweet pairing with the bride. It was full of contrast and beautiful textures, beautifully captured by Phorever Studio!
