Opulent Fall Wedding at Crystal Bridges Museum
Photographer: Two Carters Photography
One thing I love about weddings is the drama...theatrical drama, that is! A group of talented vendors set the stage and put everything together to craft the perfect backdrop for a couple to say I do. It’s their play and they are the stars. Come morning, the play may be over, but the love and commitment last a lifetime!
This lovely couple’s event was nothing short of opulent and fabulous! The bride’s bouquet featured peach, burgundy, and blush garden roses for a fabulous combination of romantic tones. The bridesmaid’s bouquets mirrored hers and the groom’s bout showcased a gorgeous soft peach rose bloom. For the church ceremony, we decorated the pews with a bundle of roses and foliage; and framed the entry to the space with lanterns filled with candles and coordinating roses and greens.
The amazing Crystal Bridges Museum served as the reception space. We created 3 different centerpieces to bring dimension and drama to the evening. A towering lush arrangement of ferns and burgundy blooms, a low, compact arrangement filled with ranunculus and roses, and a small vase of roses and eucalyptus perched atop a mirrored tray. Creating multiple centerpiece types is one of my favorite ways to bring depth and interest to a reception. The night was romantic and gorgeous! Don’t take my word for it, check out the images by Two Carters below and see for yourself!
