Carrie + Paul | Backyard Wedding + Walker Foundation Reception

This wedding was not your average wedding. The bride and groom wanted an intimate ceremony, so the ceremony was a couple weeks before their reception. The reception was at The Walker Foundation building — a beautiful space with great artwork. We designed simple white arrangements for the table so the flowers and art wouldn’t have to compete. (But added some WOW with a mirrored runner.) Since the bride loves bright colors, succulents and cacti, we created vibrant ceremony flowers and used Ruby Ball Cacti to accent the tables at the reception to tie it all together.

FLORIST TIP: more isn’t always better. Sometimes keeping the designs simple so that each element shines is the best way to showcase a couple’s personalities

And how dapper is that pupper with the collar flowers?
