True Love Tuesdays: Azure & Shawn

Purple was the color of the day for Azure and Shawn’s August wedding. The bride’s bouquet of hydrangeas, roses, orchids, carnations and stock, all in a variety of shades and hues of majestic purple matched the rich purple worn by the bridesmaids and the lilac worn by the Maid of Honor.

With all the color in her own bouquet and the bridesmaids’ dresses, Azure choose to keep her bridesmaids’ bouquets simple with white roses, baby’s breath and a little foliage. The white bouquets created noticeable and elegant contrast with the dresses.

The purple scheme carried over into the reception where tables were placed with a variety of arrangements like contained orchids, orchid and lily grass vases and low hydrangea arrangements with orchids, stock and baby’s breath.
